My hometown is Trieste. A city that opens up at the end of a narrow strip of land, hidden in the eatser corner of Italy between the Adriatic Sea and the Slovenina Border. The scenic route that links Trieste to the rest of the Country is the fisrt attempt to take your breathaway.
Umbero Saba, as many other artists, was inspired by the beauty, the elegance and yet the gruff edge of Trieste. It attracts you like a lover, but in winter when the wind blowes, it bites you like a stranger. The main square is the largest in Europe that faces the water. It rimind us of it is "grandeur", when, for nearly 600 years, was the main port of the Absburgic Monarchy.
